I'm a singer/songwriter from the Akron, Ohio. In 2014, I was looking for a hobby to use as a form of personal therapy for PTSD symptoms accumulated over 16 years of service as a firefighter/paramedic, so I decided to try to learn guitar. I had no idea how much that decision would impact my life. I began songwriting, in which I found a creative outlet to express many of the emotions that I had kept suppressed. I discovered a voice I never knew I had and once I started performing, I found a powerful way to connect to others through the language of music. Now I want to play it forward to other First Responders struggling with mental health issues by supporting the Safety Forces Support Center
