A dear friend of mine recently lost a long and stunningly valiant battle with an aggressive blood cancer. She was an endlessly vibrant, caring, shining star of a human being. Not to mention an amazing artist.

It's hard to know how to deal with the loss at all times, but particularly when it feels unfairly before their time. Alice (Alice and the Glass Lake) hadn't even reached her 30th birthday.

It feels fitting to honor her and to grieve in a pro-active way. Carrying on her fight and doing so through music.
