I'm a singer-songwriter working on my first album. This song is dedicated to Alex Colwell, a friend of a friend who suffered from mental health issues that he struggled to get diagnosed. I heard the story that inspired this song over the phone before going out to watch the sunset on Brighton beach. I hope to raise a little money with this tune and with Alex's memory. I only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times, but his kindness and talent permeated every word he spoke.
