I wrote this song in May 2019 after the STEM School Highlands Ranch mass shooting in Colorado. I have an eleven year old son and with each mass shooting I grow more and more frightened of the country in which he is growing up. Many days I'm scared to let him go to school, but I also don't want to restrict him from having a normal childhood in this great country. I have to imagine millions of others feel the same. "I'm afraid to let you go/I'm afraid to make you stay..."

I believe that the March For Our Lives Foundation is doing excellent work in advocating for sensible gun violence prevention. 100% of the proceeds from downloading this song will go their foundation. I hope you'll consider making a donation and sharing this project with others.
