In 2019 we lost Henry Stone, my brother-in-law, to pancreatic cancer. Henry was one of the foundations of our family and a friend to so many in the Austin, Texas community. In his final days we visited him in the hospital and held his hand. It seemed all we could do was offer some small comfort.

As we sat with Henry it occurred to me that I did not have a song for times like these. So on the long drive home to New Hampshire after his funeral I wrote "If I Wrote A Song" and dedicated it to Henry and his wife and son. I hope this song might bring some small comfort to anyone facing life's many struggles and raise funds for and awareness of Pancreatic Cancer.
