We thank you for your donation:)

Woodstock-performing rock icon Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane and California songwriter Michelle Mangione have released "Lahaina Shine" to benefit families in Hawaii who were impacted by the fires on Maui in August of 2023. The pair cowrote the song after hearing of the devastation caused by the fires on the island, a place that holds personal significance to both artists.

In November, Mangione recruited over 100 people to gather on the beach in Long Beach, California to play ukuleles while singing the chorus of the song in unison. Audio from the event was used in the final recording.

The easiest way to download is on a computer (pc or mac) and sync or transfer to your other devices.

Due to restrictions from Apple and Android products, it is difficult (and sometimes impossible) to download to a tablet or phone. However, it may be possible if you’re willing to follow several steps:

To download on Apple device (iphone or ipad):
click on “download project tracks” in the email you were sent
click “more”
click “save to files”
click “save” (on top right of phone screen)
go to your files app icon on your iphone
type in search bar: “”
click on “” and an mp3 file should magically appear!
Open mp3 file that appears and you can now listen and enjoy.

To download on Android device (Samsung, Pixel etc...):
click on “download project tracks” in the email you were sent, extract, play.
If extract is not an option, go to files, downloads, extract, play.

*If you are still having problems downloading and are unable to use a computer, just e-mail us and let us know and we’re happy to help.
