GLSEN (pronounced "glisten")-- was formed in 1990 to improve the educational environment for LGBT students, who were frequently victims of bullying in an education system that seemed to not care about them. Through research, support of student-led efforts, partnerships with decision makers and organizations and resources for educators, GLSEN works to create a safe and non -discriminatory school environment. Together they strive to transform our nation’s K-12 schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve. ------------ By Purchasing this song, you are helping raise money to help GLSEN further their work in shaping the lives of youth that are in need.
