Never forget about the secondary kill. Here in Arizona we're currently experiencing the largest surge of covid cases in the country. the primary kill is the virus, the secondary kill (which is a term I stole from the book Earth Abides written in the 1940's about a virus that wipes out humanity...very creepy read in this day and age.) is everything else. hunger, depression, domestic abuse, increased opioid addiction..... this song speaks to the hundreds of thousands of people who have died alone with no vigils held. and how we as human beings process that. in light of out government feeding the beast of American capitalism instead of its people, we decided to use this song to benefit the Tucson Community Food Bank, which has always been a great Resource for family's in need here in Tucson , but now is being stretched thin, and potentially facing budget cuts at the worst possible time. so please donate what you can, if you can. we love you all, and maybe someday we'll actually get to play this one for you live.
