2020 has been a turbulent year, but with the holidays right around the corner, we are finally able to experience a sense of normality. Of course, the holiday season is accompanied by the season of giving, and this holiday season, the words of Winston Churchill hold true: "we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."

It brings us great joy to release this jazz-based Christmas album, which features takes on classic Christmas songs and songs from the Vince Guaraldi Trio. All the proceeds from this album go to Pennsbury Kids, which is a foundation local to the Bucks County area. Pennsbury Kids works exclusively with Pennsbury staff, specifically social workers, to solve the needs that are not able to be met with existing programs from the federal, state, county, or other nonprofit organizations. Pennsbury Kids helps students obtain their basic needs and participate in their school's community.

The album could not be possible without the work of pianist Kartik Kannan, guitarist Christopher Heitmann, bassist and drummer Brendan King, drummer Victor Sorace, and guest soloists Gregory Glatzer (clarinet) and Austin Massey (trombone). Special thanks must also be given to Christopher Heitmann for his help in editing all of the recordings to produce the works on the track, and to the entire Pennsbury Instrumental Music Department for helping us become the musicians we are today. We hope you enjoy the project, and thank you for your support both for us and Pennsbury Kids!
