By The Hiders. Donations go to Freestore Foodbank.
$225 donated so far
In these strange and troubled times The Hiders wanted to try to do something with our music to help in some small way so we recorded this song in our home studio specifically to use for fundraising. This song , 'The Fate of Earl Mann' was originally written and used for a 2009 documentary called 'CONVICTION: The true story of Clarence Elkins' and then used on our third LP 'Four Letter Town' . This is a brand new version with our current line-up:
Billy Alletzhauser - vocals, guitars, keys
Beth Harris - vocals, percussion
Todd Drake - drums & Jeremy Pittman - bass
The Freestore Foodbank is a private, non-profit charitable organization, which was founded in 1971 and is the largest provider of direct emergency services to the needy of the Greater Cincinnati area. The Freestore Foodbank is the only distributor of donated and surplus food products to a large network of non-profit member organizations located in southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana.
Prior to 7/1/23, all donations from this fundraiser were forwarded to Maslow's Army, a 501 (c) 3 non- profit, which was founded in October of 2016. They work on an emergency basis to help those experiencing homelessness. Over the last few years Maslow's Army has been serving our area's homeless population. Individuals experiencing homeless have been housed in hotel rooms, provided meals, and provided resources to obtain permanent stable housing.
