I am not Lionel Richie. I don’t have the next ‘We Are the World’ in me. What I do got is this little homemade hymn to hedonism right here – nothing more than an attempt to capture that spirit of longing for when we all get to go out and play together again.

In the meantime, I’m well aware that many have it significantly harder than waiting around for that to happen. So, thanks to the folks at Play it Forward, I’m attaching the song to a cause of my choosing. I picked Save the Children’s Covid-19 relief effort.

Save the Children has launched a $100 million appeal - the biggest in its history - to protect children in the world's most deprived areas from the effects of coronavirus. Save the Children is making efforts globally from repairing sanitation in refugee camps in Bangladesh to helping low-income families in Italy continue their education at home.
