YEVA is an Armenian-American singer-songwriter and producer from Los Angeles, California. She is known for her intimate, heartfelt vocals and vulnerable lyrics.
Yeva was born in Armenia, but grew up in Glendale, CA. She fell in love with music at a young age - studying classical piano from the age of 6, picking up the viola at the age of 9, and learning to play the guitar and ukulele in high school. Since 2016, she has been writing her own music and working with other artists around the world on collaborative projects.
Yeva is very passionate about Armenian folk music. As an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley, she led an Armenian acapella choir group called Arzagank for nearly 4 years. In 2019, she taught an Armenian music class at a children's summer camp and in 2020, she gave a presentation for ANCA members on the history of Armenian Folk Music. She is currently a member of AGBU's L.A. Choir.
