The Hiders are an Americana/Roots/Rock group based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Formed by lead guitarist vocalist Billy Alletzhauser.
The Hider's work is said to "...transcend easy genre specification and magically takes the listener somewhere that feels familiar without resorting to retro-minded clichés." , with songs " ... like the warming fire that draws everyone close in the midst of a deep freeze. "
The Hiders released 7 full length LPs and have been featured on NPR and have had music in documentaries, film , and network television. They are currently at work on new material in their home studio 'The Belfry'.
