Trisha Adams is a musician, singer, and songwriter living in Fort Collins, CO. She plays solo shows, duo and trio shows, and with her full band, The Monday Night Band. Depending on the venue, she sings and plays percussion, guitar, and piano.
About "Roula" (from Musicians for Peace album): Roula is a friend of mine, and a Syrian refugee. One of the most powerful things she said to me in an interview was, "We [Syrians] just want to be treated as humans. As humans we have the right to live. To be educated. To love and feel loved." Her brother insists that before the war, Syria was one of the most beautiful places on earth. The history, the stone streets; the people used to love each other, they had a culture and customs that were theirs and a beautiful life - one that now we may never know.
