Steve Mazza is a NYC-based singer-songwriter and amateur music producer who has raised over $25,000 for children's charities using his music. In 2007 he released a self-produced album called Acoustic Daydreams. All revenue from CD sales were donated to the Makhulong Orphanage in South Africa. In 2010, Steve released Dance Like You Need It, which raised funds for a non-profit called S.C.O.P.E. (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education). His fundraising experiences led to the inception of Play It Forward, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Steve's dream is to empower artists to make the world a better place using their creative talents.

Steve received his BS in elementary education from Skidmore College, his MA in developmental psychology from Columbia University, and his PhD in clinical psychology at Hofstra University. He is currently a clinical psychologist and faculty member at Columbia University Medical Center, where he specializes in treating childhood anxiety disorders.
